Creativity Exercise

Finally it's time for Heart Thief to be released. It seemed like it took forever to write and revise that book, sell it and have it published! But I've read reviews that say it moves at the speed of light....Can't tell it by me.

I've thought a lot about time lately. How it expands if you're nervous or contracts if you're having fun. June is also the month I usually feature the Summer Solstice, when the day is longest in the Northern Hemisphere.

So how do we fashion a creativity exercise about time? Past, Present, Future?
Hmmm.

Past: What was your happiest moment in your past? What brings you the most happiness in the present? What fulfilled dream do you think would make you the happiest in the future? Perhaps you want to create three pieces that celebrate this (a three layered cake?). Or perhaps you'd like to do a time-line that shows your life and expands upon these three moments.

OR: This is a timed self-discovery. Where/when/how do you get your best ideas? Is one activity better for you than another? Limit yourself to a half-hour and do the following things over the month, keep a notebook of results.
.
1) Exercise.
2) Do a monotonous chore (washing dishes?)
3) Take a walk
4) Plunk yourself down at your creative place (for me that's the computer)

OR: Think of your "perfect" clock. One you would like to design and have.
