Quote | Visualization | Affirmation

My eharlequin story Song of Marwey (Tuesday Read) will start on January 18 . It's a prequel to my Summoning series which feature women from Earth being Summoned to a different word - Amee, specifically the land of Lladrana . Lladranan cuture is an aural one - things are described in terms of hearing and sound - and Alexa Fitzwalter of Denver is Summoned to Lladrana by chimes and gong and chant (available in stores January 25!)

So I couldn't resist the following quote:

Free Your Artist

"Creative force, like a musical composer, goes on unweariedly repeating a simple air or theme, now high, now low, in solo, in chorus, ten thousand times reverberated, till it fills earth and heaven with the chant ."

—Ralph Waldo Emerson

Creativity Exercise - Earth

What do you think of when you hear "earth . " The planet? The soil? Land surrounded by water?

Right now the earth outside my back door is hard and cold or soggy and muddy with dead grass . . . the planet itself may be weeping at the earthquake and tsunami that recently occurred .

1) Create a piece that is essential "earth" to you

2) Create a piece that expresses what YOU FEEL about earth .

3) Where on Earth would you like to be Right Now? First thing that comes to mind! Use it to jumpstart your next artistic piece.

Affirmation

Every day the earth offers me inspiration, speaking to me through my senses. I will listen and create.
